Key features

Anti-Graffiti Coating for Non-Porous Surfaces protects smooth, non-absorbent surfaces such as metal, powder-coated and painted surfaces and fibreglass against graffiti. It goes on in one coat and the film is invisible.

The protection is non-sacrificial. Graffiti can be removed many times without re-applying the protection. With Graffiti Remover you save time and cost and do not need to re-coat after every clean.

It suits traffic signs, bollards, shipping containers, bridges and bus shelters. The protection lasts up to 7 years, depending on the material, use and how the surface is maintained.

Directions for use

  1. The surface must be clean, grease-free and completely dry, at 5 to 30 °C and 30 to 80% relative humidity. Remove rust and flaking paint and degrease new metal.
  2. Apply one light film by HVLP sprayer, which works best, with a small roller, or with a brush on irregular shapes. Re-roll after about 30 seconds without adding more product.
  3. Do not spray back and forth. Correct mistakes within about 10 minutes. Apply only one coat.
  4. Touch dry after 1 hour and fully cured after 5 to 7 days. Clean equipment with acetone or n-butyl acetate, never with water.

Good to know

  • Paint will not stick to the coating, so do any painting before you apply it.
  • Avoid applying in wind, and keep dust and sawdust away while the coating dries.
  • Remove graffiti only with Graffiti Remover as described. High pressure and other chemical cleaners can damage the coating.
  • Store the container closed at 4 to 22 °C.

Safety

  • Flammable. Keep away from heat and flames. No smoking.
  • Harmful if swallowed, in contact with skin or if inhaled. May cause an allergic skin reaction and irritates the skin, eyes and respiratory tract.
  • Wear gloves, eye protection and a respirator, work in a well-ventilated area and read the safety data sheet (SDS) before use.
Test on a small area first and read the safety data sheet before use.
