Key features
Pre Cleaner is a cleaning spray that removes grease, oil, smoke, nicotine, soot and wax from a surface and takes away moisture before a Nanoman coating is applied. A clean, dry surface is what lets the coating bond well, which is why Pre Cleaner is the first step.
It dries in 15 to 30 minutes and does not abrade the surface. Pre Cleaner suits glass, ceramic tiles, stainless steel and other metals, and solar panels. It comes with the glass and wheel kits and is also sold on its own.
Pre Cleaner is a cleaner, not a disinfectant. It is a highly flammable liquid, so work in a well-ventilated area and keep it away from heat and flames.

Directions for use
- Work in a well-ventilated area, preferably in the shade and free of dust, and wear gloves. Shake the bottle.
- Make sure the surface is dry and spray liberally on one area at a time, about 40 cm across.
- Wipe with a clean cloth using light to moderate pressure until no dirt or streaks remain. Repeat across the whole surface, with a second pass where the soiling is heavy.
- Let the surface dry completely, about 15 to 30 minutes, before applying the Nanoman coating.
- Do not thin it or mix it with water or other chemicals. Clean your equipment straight after use.
Good to know
- Avoid very hot or very cold surfaces, where the product can evaporate before you wipe it off and leave streaks.
- Use a clean, lint-free cloth. Paper towels can leave lint, and cloths washed with fabric softener can leave a film.
- On large windows, work in sections from the top down and wipe each section before you move on.
- Store the container closed and away from light at 5 to 25 °C.
Safety
- Highly flammable. Keep away from heat and flames. No smoking.
- Avoid breathing the spray. Wear gloves and ventilate well.
- Keep out of reach of children. Read the safety data sheet (SDS) before use.
Questions and answers
Do I need Pre Cleaner before I apply a coating?
We recommend it. The surface must be clean, free of grease and dry for the coating to bond well, and Pre Cleaner is made for that.
Can I thin Pre Cleaner or mix it with something else?
No. Use it undiluted and do not mix it with water or other chemicals.
Is Pre Cleaner a disinfectant?
No. It cleans a surface and prepares it for coating but is not intended for disinfecting.
